There is a village in the north of Russia called Dymkovo, where for hundreds of years many families made clay dishes and toys. Every year, from autumn till spring, they modelled, dried, fired then whitened (with chalk and skimmed milk) and at last painted with egg colours and decorated their toys with very-very thin gold leaves. The toys were people and animals. One of very popular Dymkovo toys is a goat.
Here I offer you to weave a beaded copy of it. You'll need 10 colours of seed beads size 11, a beading needle size 11-15 and fishing line with diameter 0,15 mm or fire-line.
The pattern includes a photo of the finished goat, 21 graphs and very detailed, bead-by-bead instructions.
