Friends who have worn storyteller necklaces I made for them sometimes attend the Indian Market in Santa Fe. Invariably I hear from them that a potter who makes storyteller pottery figures wants a necklace like theirs. I thought I should make up a version for a potter so here it is. The necklace has a nice squared shape at the top and the little butterfly strip can be used as a woven strap, a bracelet, or with triangles at each end, a long earring.
There are 4 earring choices, the pot alone, the pot with a frame, Butterfly with frame, and if you REALLY like teeny earrings, each little solo butterfly could be an earring.
The bracelet is way fun with kids and pots and pottery butterflies in profusion. Unlike my other bracelets, this one is not repeats; each section is different. But you can still remove the kid from the end, two kids from the end, or even two kids and two pots if you need to in order to size the bracelet down to fit you. If you want to size it up for some reason, add a pot maybe? My bracelets are designed in peyote but are most easily woven in brick stitch (turn pattern sideways)
