This pattern is the sixth in a series
based on illustrations by C.M. Burd. It depicts a sweet little child enjoying breakfast in the garden.
The picture originally appeared in a small booklet entitled "Baby's First Year", which was given to young families by
a local savings bank in 1917. Any of the patterns from this series would be perfect for
a child's room, or for the mother-to-be.
This pattern is done entirely in simple whole cross
stitches. Designed in DMC colors, but the floss list includes full color blocks
for easier matching to other brands or floss you may already have on hand.
This pattern is 168 stitches wide x 217 stitches long; the finished size will depend
on the fabric you use.
