For the regular or seasoned beader its no problem, but most patterns assume you know how to do the stitch required of them. Im sorry the pattern you chose is one you were not familiar with doing. It looks pretty, and from the little picture I can tell it is an amulet bag, and you can usually work them in either brick stitch or peyote, and just follow the pattern as shown. ( I use a sticky note to keep my place). There are free instructions here and elsewhere to learn the stitches. Good Luck, and as I said its a very pretty pattern.
